Like the Internet, we are a collection of experienced knowledge workers connected in real-time. Each team member brings a unique perspective to a project. The Internet is crammed full of blunted advertising, annoying spam, and (most regrettably) badly designed and executed visual information. Everything we design and build must be as simple to operate and as obvious in purpose as an ATM (Automated Teller Machine). Everything we build must adhere to a few basic principles. First, it must deliver information quickly and effectively in a manner desired by the person on the other side of the screen. Second, it must be original work, meaning that we exploit public domain solutions and commercially available solutions wherever possible, thus avoiding re-inventing anything. Third, it must be easily extensible by technologists other than us; if we are the only ones that can work on our code, then we failed. These few simple principles, rigorously applied, yield award-winning solutions and very happy clients.

If allowed, we would spend our days solving the really challenging problems of the day. We would integrate the most complicated systems. We would refine and simplify the most widely-used and cumbersome visuals. We would sift mountains of data to find patterns and secrets. We incline toward the hardest problems. But near-academic pursuits such as these are rarely the stuff of commerce. And we are first and foremost concerned with commerce. So we apply our minimalist visual approach, combine it with our penchant for heavy-lifting behind the scenes, and invent or perfect commercial applications that help people learn and do more in less time with fewer errors.

Beyond this, we are completely buzz-word compliant. We follow agile development methods. We adhere to brand expression fundamentals. We use industry standard tools and libraries. Our customers attest that we are relentless in achieving their goals. As far as customer service, we're not satisfied until you're satisfied.

Finally, we don't take ourselves too doggone seriously. As our name implies, we keep things light whenever possible. Information has been boring and tedious for far too long — we believe it's that way because it's hard to access, not because it's actually boring or tedious.
